When I worked in theatre the question was "Why are you switching from fashion?" and in fashion the question was "Why are you switching from theatre?"
The answer for both is: I love what I do. Sewing, pattern making, and creating are what give me fulfillment in life. Whether it’s a abstract concept for theatre, a mass marketable one for fashion, or custom for a uniquely shaped individual- I will always be making and learning something new. Woven fabrics are my specialty, but I am not a stranger to fine fabrics or knits. New materials and techniques are always embraced. Take a look at my work and see what strikes your fancy! |
